⚝ Team Lala
Marco Lala is one of the most active investment property specialists in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Westchester County. His sharp focus and intensity has resulted in as many as 70 “seller oriented” building transactions as little as 18 months. That's nearly 100 buildings and over a quarter of a billion dollars in real estate. He has personally handled the sale of over one billion dollars in the New York Metropolitan Area. This record of accomplishment is virtually unmatched by anyone handling building sales in this submarket. His focus did not start with the Real Estate business. Beginning martial arts training at the age of 14, Marco achieved the coveted rank of Black Belt by the age 17. By the time he was 18, he wrote his first of three books on the subject. By 21, he was one of the youngest, non-Asian full contact Karate champions.
After becoming a top producer of income property sales at Marcus & Millichap and WRA Properties Inc., Marco took a position with Massey Knakal Realty Services to help spearhead the company's expansion into the Bronx and Westchester. Under his guidance the office grew from a 20-person operation to a firm that employed over 200 brokers and support staff. In 2007 he closed the firms second highest number of transactions and in 2006 he was responsible for one of the firm's largest ever commissions through the sale of a 22-building portfolio in the Bronx and Brooklyn. After over six years and having grossed almost $1 billion in career sales Marco left his role as Managing Partner at Massey Knakal and re-joined Marcus and Millichap in 2008 with his sights set on focusing on his core business: The Manhattan, Bronx, and Westchester investment property markets.
Mr. Lala was a member of Marcus & Millichap's National Multi Housing Group and the Special Asset Services Group. He graduated from Mount St. Michael Academy (High School) and received a degree in Marketing from Manhattan College in the Bronx.
Jack Lala specializes mainly in seller oriented investment property sales with a fifteen plus year track record in The Bronx, Northern Manhattan, Westchester and the Hudson Valley. Over the course of his career he also successfully executed mortgage and property management referrals along with “off market transactions” to meet the request of long term clients/customers.
In 2003 Jack started his career working alongside Marco Lala and Team in an administrative and sales capacity at Massey Knakal Realty Services. Following the move to Marcus & Millichap, Jack began brokering deals in the Westchester markets.
Jack currently specializes in the Bronx and N. Manhattan investment sales markets under the umbrella of Team Lala, winner of M&M's 2014 largest fee award.
David plays a myriad of crucial roles for Team Lala. He is the team's sole financial analyst having underwritten billions of dollars worth of commercial real estate throughout his career. He has also contracted with Team Lala to build and manages the teams website and internal web-based database. He plays a lead role in designing the teams marketing and presentation materials and performs highly technical database and data-processing functions.
David Raciti began his real estate career working as an associate/analyst at Massey Knakal Realty Services in December of 2004. His contributions have been an instrumental part in facilitating over 200 transactions totaling over $500 million in gross sales as a member of Team Lala.
Dave previously worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. as a manager in its presentations and graphics department. A few years later, David left Goldman to pursue a new opportunity. He took over control and ownership of a small food service and catering business with a storefront in the North Bronx. David, now, continues to work in partnership with Team Lala.
Michelle plays multiple roles of licensed agent marketing the team's listings and prospecting for leads as well as an administrative function keeping the team organized. In a short period of time Michelle has increased the team's database by thousands of investors and has contributed by creating high impact marketing materials.
Michelle's focus is on the Northern Manhattan, Bronx and Westchester markets alongside her father Marco Lala, a twenty-year veteran in the commercial real estate business. She also handles transaction management for all New York Metro sales.
Prior to Michelle's real estate career, she held management positions in two luxury retail companies: Seven For All Mankind and Vince Camuto. Soon after she started at Seven For All Mankind as a sales associate, Michelle was promoted to a manager due to her being the constant top seller. Following her promotion to management, sales increased 30%. Vince Camuto was where Michelle harnessed her management skills. She consistently achieved her sales goals while also training staff members on store procedures, policies, and selling techniques.
Michelle Lala is a recent graduate of Montclair State University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
